Hello world!
Hello world!

Hello world!

Hi friends! I have some news to share, and I know that you are busy and have a million things on your mind and your to-do list, so I’ll try to be short and sweet.

I’m launching Ducks in a Row Photo Solutions, a photo management business, and if you have photos that you would be devastated to lose, and you have not organized and protected them, this might be something that interests you. If you’ve ever wanted to create a photo book or a photo slide show, record your memories so that your stories aren’t forgotten, or share some printed photos that have not been digitized, I hope this piques your interest.

I’ve always been a “keeper of memories”. I treasure my photos, videos, home movies, memorabilia, genealogy information (that my sister reveals, as “keeper of the family tree”!), and all things from my family’s history—both distant past and more recent. It makes me feel connected to something bigger. And reviewing my life through photos reminds me of stories I’d otherwise have forgotten.

The primary focus of Ducks in a Row Photo Solutions will be organizing and scanning printed photos and documents, creating books, slide shows, and legacy collections, and guiding DIYers. I’ll share tips to getting started and support when you are overwhelmed. As a member of The Photo Managers, the global leader in the field of photo organizing, management, training, and support, I have access to professionals who specialize in a multitude of areas. This will allow me to help find solutions to all your photo and video needs, from film and VHS conversion to photo restoration to digital photo organizing, cloud and non-cloud storage, and family websites, and more.

I will be sharing information and stories in my blog and on Facebook and Instagram, so please follow and share with your friends and family—particularly those who are the “keepers of memories” in your family.

I can be found on Facebook and Instagram and my website is ducksinarowphotosolutions.com.

Thanks! And Happy New Year to everyone! May your 2025 be full of joy and new adventures!

THIS! This is what I’ve been looking for! I have been sitting on a boxed up bunch of my old photos, and home videos, because I couldn’t find a company where a woman/women did the job. Handing such emotionally intimate and generally private belongings over to strangers felt daunting-knowing they’ll be in Laurie Rickaby’s hands fills me with confidence and happy anticipation! Thanks Ducksinarow!

    1. Hello Patty! It is true that our photos are intimate and sharing them is inviting people into our private moments. I’d be delighted to help you with your goals! You can reach out via email, phone, or schedule a time in the calendar on the contact page and we can talk about it. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement!
